Saul turned to be Paul
I read the book of Act this morning about Saul when Jesus made him to believe in Jesus. That makes me have some thought about this chapter. After I read these verses, I got my tear in my eyes. It is kind of sad thing the way that Jesus used Paul. These are the words that Jesus told Ananias after he asked Jesus that why he had to help Saul because he was a bad person, he harm all the Christian. This is what the answer from Jesus.
But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name." Act 9:15-16
Jesus told that He would show Paul how much he must suffer for His name. From this chapter we could see how suffer he was in 2 Corinth 11:24-27.
Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false brothers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked.
But I can see how God used His people. He will choose His people from the lowest. And everyone can see how much Paul changed and no one could changed him like that except God. I feel very impressed to Paul this morning.
That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor 12:10
