After Brokeback mountain

Last night I went to see Brokeback Mountain. In the middle of the movie, I felt uncomfortable. The movie shows the emotional of each character. Each character has their own background. Movie show what the human being, how evil the human are. I read the review in Thai web they said the movie show social wall blocking their relationship going on.

For me: The movie show the intimately relationship of two men. Jack Twist is happily person had a dream like a child. Annis Del Mar is sad man who does not like to do something different to make himself better. He had very compression experience from his childhood. The movie make the S-word and F-word come out easily. I always heard those words. I always had this feeling when I saw this movie like “stop this behavior, can’t you guys see where it’s leading you?”

Therefore, these are my idea from this movie:

1. If they did not get drunk Annis could go to look after the sheep and they would not loose the sheep, they could not stay in the same tent, and they will not get in to that temptation. That thing would not happen.

2. After that Annis felt guilty but he lead his emotion and his friend to make him go on, not just stop it.

3. He knew at the first before they met that he will marry Almar after he finishes this job but he still doing the wrong thing.

4. Annis could stop Jack’s coming by do nothing after he got Jack’s postcard but he did not even though he has a happy family with two sweet daughters.

5. As the years roll by, these men wreck their own lives and those around them. Those people most endeared to them, people that they love, suffering because of their relationship. At Alma’s first sight of her husband and Jack in an “embrace,” the torture in her eyes teared over with utter disbelief, was almost too much to bear.

6. At first, they said they are not homosexual but if they are not and Jack is not then he should not go to Maxico to sleep with a boy prostitute.

7. At least two things I really like from this movie is the scene of the Brokeback Mountain. It is so pretty. Wyoming is so pretty. And other thing is the background music is so pretty too.

Well, I think the movie is good enough for the Oscar’s award but I will not recommend my friends to see it especially my Christian friends.
